Associate Program Manager
Sofía De Jesús is the author of Applied Computational Thinking with Python, 2e, and a computer science education curriculum designer and developer with over 20 years of experience including more than 10 years in the classroom. She has a BS from the University of Puerto Rico with a focus on mathematics and an MS from the University of Dayton in Teacher Education and Allied Professions. She also completed all doctoral credits (64) toward an EdD (abd). She is currently the Associate Program Manager for CMU CS Academy, an outreach program from Carnegie Mellon University, where she leads the efforts with the Spanish translation of CS curriculum and expansion into Latin America as well as accessibility and equity initiatives for the project.
