I am a seasoned educator and current system administrator in a K12 district. With a BA in Education and a Master's in Counseling, I have 20 years of experience in K-12 education. My roles have included primary and secondary school teacher, tech coach, school counselor, and assistant principal. With an entrepreneurial spirit, I have also owned a tech company. As a member of the Austin AI Alliance and an author on AI, I am currently writing a book on AI deepfakes and their impact on mental health. I have delivered professional development training and maker space curriculum presentations at numerous schools and state conferences, inspiring educators to embrace new technologies and innovate in their classrooms.
