CEO
25-year-old Diemuerci, Born in a refugee camp in Tanzania, Dieumerci grew up wanting to make an impact on the world. And so he buried his head in books, learning how to innovate and build solutions fast. If he had only had a teacher to tell his dreams and aspirations to. Aged 13, Dieumerci’s family immigrated to America, where he continued to experience a disconnect with his teachers. Growing disengaged and disenchanted with school, he realized that he needed to close the gap between teachers and students.
Enlight was born to help nurture the dreams, passions, and aspirations that fade away because no one asked. To create meaningful teacher/student connections and engaging learning opportunities that open minds and touches hearts.
The app is a testament to Dieumerci’s entrepreneurial drive and learner mindset, and was notably adopted into Future Founders, Headstream and Techstars. He has also participated in the TechCrunch Disrupt Startup Battlefield, as one of the top U.S. startups predicted to disrupt education.
While some never get to realize their dreams because of fear or circumstances, Dieumerci is living his dream of changing the world—every day.
