Educational Technology Specialist
Renee has been in the education field for 18 years. As a special education teacher for 15 years, she taught in elementary, middle, and high school settings in self-contained, co-taught, and resource environments, as well as working with students in hospital and home environments. She has supported students with a variety of disabilities and assistive technology needs.
Currently, she is an Educational Technology Specialist in Atlanta Public Schools. She manages the Verizon Innovative Learning Initiative at Crawford W. Long Middle School. She was previously an Ed Farm Innovation Fellow and is currently a Senior HP Teaching Fellow.
In her spare time, Renee enjoys using and acquiring digital skills to create content for various learners. She also enjoys creating digital art and graphic designs.
Renee currently resides in Atlanta, Georgia, with her partner, Will, and their pit bulls, Pig and Lulu.
